Twelve, 7 SUGS 5 MUSGS, participated in the joint fixture for the David Howling cup. The course was in good shape and the weather fair.
The match was based on scores for the top 5 players from SUGS and MUSGS.
Manchester were the winners with an average of 32pts compared to Salford's 29pts.
